Maddox Kilgore brings 25 years of legal experience to Kilgore Rodriguez. Maddox served as a law clerk on the Georgia Supreme Court, an Assistant Attorney General, and an Assistant District Attorney in the Cobb County Judicial System before he turned his attention to defending juveniles and adults at every stage of the criminal justice system. Much of his expertise is devoted to appellate practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court, where Maddox has successfully won new trials for his clients.

Carlos Rodriguez has successfully defended cases for clients accused of murder, aggravated assault, possession and sale of drugs, DUI, and many other criminal cases. Carlos is a leader among the defense bar in Cobb County, having served as President of the Criminal Defense Section of the Cobb County Bar Association.

When defending against marijuana or other drug charges, Kilgore & Rodriguez seek to have the evidence suppressed or excluded by finding where police may have violated the defendant's constitutional rights in the way his person or property was searched, or in how the contraband was seized. In DUI cases, we also work to find violations of our clients' rights that can result in the suppression or exclusion of evidence of consumption and/or impairment.

Even if there is no basis which requires that the evidence be suppressed, we look for any possible factual or legal defenses to challenge the criminal charges. Our priority is always the same: Get the evidence excluded, get the case dismissed, and keep our clients out of jail.

The Atlanta criminal defense attorneys at Kilgore & Rodriguez offer expertise and experience in the areas of child molestation and sexual offenses, domestic violence, theft and shoplifting, traffic and driver's license offenses, juvenile offenses, and mental health defenses. In addition, Kilgore & Rodriguez has a proven track record of winning cases on appeal.

When your freedom is on the line, real courtroom experience matters. If you've been charged with a crime, turn to the trusted Atlanta criminal defense attorneys at Kilgore & Rodriguez.
