Aggravated Battery Charges Dimissed

Following a serious psychotic episode, K&R client hospitalized on a 1013 order for a mental health evaluation. After being heavily medicated client was involved in a physical altercation with hospital security personnel and charged with aggravated battery. Client's first lawyer recommended that he plead guilty to the serious violent felony. Client's family then hired K&R who challenged the State's lack of evidence and obtained critical hospital records. After many months of defending client in and out of court, K&R able to obtain a dismissal to all the charges.
