Arrest Warrant Application Dismissed

Unhappy builder filed an application to get K&R client arrested for theft by conversion. Builder alleged a breach of contract, arguing that K&R client had commited a felony when he accepted payment then failed to perform under an agreement for services. K&R defended our contractor client in court and provided the judge with the controlling Georgia law that such matters are a civil dispute rather than a crime. Warrant application dismissed and K&R client avoided arrest altogether.
