CASE WON AT U.S. SUPREME COURT: Malice Murder
Cobb County case decided in U.S. Supreme Court, 2024
The U.S. Supreme Court issued a unanimous ruling that a client with schizophrenia could not be retried for malice murder following a jury’s acquittal on that charge. Kilgore & Rodriguez took the case from the trial court to the Georgia Supreme Court and then all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court and won.
