Kidnapping Charges Dismissed

Following a domestic dispute with his girlfriend in public, Douglas County deputies overcharged our client with the offense of Kidnapping, which carries a possible sentence of Life Imprisonment. Despite there being no evidence of Kidnapping, the District Attorney demanded that the young man plead guilty to the charge. Kilgore & Rodriguez called their bluff and demanded a trial. On the Monday morning of trial, the District Attorney folded on the Kidnapping and our client was released from custody.
